Performed at Making Mistakes, The Wallis Gallery 2008 and BischoffWeiss 2008 as part of Anarchy is Ordinary The performance takes the form of a series of successive compliments based loosely on the Persian custom Taarof. A verbal dance between two protagonists was played out where they each attempt to outdo the other with an increasingly ornamented script of compliments. The autocue serves to further emphasize levels of insincerity.
